Nagpur: In what could be mentioned as turn of tables, a Dental Doctor who had created an image of being victimized by goon had in fact tried to implicate a goon to avoid making payments of the house/plot which he had purchased from Kamlesh Nimbarte.
It could be mentioned that a goon and a prisoner who had jumped parole and had allegedly demanded extortion from a Dental Doctor in Pratap Nagar area turns out to be false.
The police sources had said that the accused identified as Kamlesh Sitaram Nimbarte and his accomplices had whisked away a dental Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar’s Mercedes Benz car on driver at gun point.
The alleged victim Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar aged 42 years and a resident of Plot No 16, Gawande Layout had alleged that Kamlesh Sitaram Nimbarte has been demanding an extortion amount of Rs 50,000/-.
The accused Kamlesh Sitaram Nimbarte and his accomplices have been threatening to kill the victim and his family. On November 25, 2016, the accused had forcibly taken away the Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar’s Mercedes Benz car bearing RTO registration No MH-29/ AR 1262 from the driver near Petrol Pump situated in Sneh Nagar by pointing a mouser gun at the driver. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim Doctor Ravindra Govindwar, Assistant Police Inspector Munde of Rana Pratap Police Station has registered a case against the accused and his accomplices under Sections 384, 385, 387, 392 and 34 of Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3+25 of Arms Act.
However, probe revealed that the dental doctor had in-fact made false allegations to avoid paying up the due amount to Kamlesh Nimbarte.
While speaking to Nagpur Today, a very senior police officer said that on closer probe, it was revealed that the doctor had purchased the plot/house from Kamlesh Nimbarte and had given partial payment. In spite of repeated request, the dental doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar kept deferring his payments.
When Kamlesh Nimbarte finally accosted Dental Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar and demanded the due amount, the doctor went and lodged a false complaint that the goon has been demanding extortion amount and has forcibly taken away his Mercedes Benz car.
The senior police official added that of course they will take proper action against the Kamlesh Nimbarte since the manner in which he had forcibly taken away the doctor’s car is wrong and illegal. However, the doctor is actually the cause behind Kamlesh Nimbarte taking the extreme step. The amount demanded by Kamlesh is rightfully his.
