Nagpur:
All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Mohan Prakash on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetization decision and said that he caused an economic disaster. “What happened on 9/11 in United States of America Modi did the same in India on 8/11. The Prime Minister sees the piggybanks of children and savings of women as black money. The demonetization move is this century’s biggest scam perpetrated by Modi,” Prakash said.

Mohan Prakash was addressing party workers during the 131st foundation day programme of Indian National Congress on Wednesday at Sadbhawana Lawn, opposite CID Office, Jafar Nagar. He blasted the BJP-led Government for insensitivity towards sufferings of poor due to withdrawal of currency and faulted it for poor planning. “Companies like PayTm, Flipkart, Amazon, Visa Card, American Express etc.,those who are dealing in cashless banking are earning profit from hard earned money of Indian people but common man is forced to stand in long queues just because of Government’s irresponsible decisions. BJP pockets hefty commissions from these foreign companies, ” Prakash charged.

The Congress leader also said that demonetization affected common man while rich people are still under the shelter of BJP Government. Modi took this step in the name of black money and to curb terrorism but soon demonetization is going to be the biggest corruption after independence. Those who are holding higher posts in Reserve Bank of India (RBI) are following the instructions of Government to provide huge amounts to chosen few people that has resulted in big crunch of cash availability in the banks, he claimed.
