Nagpur: Round Table India (RTI) an organisation of young men, is spread across India in over 75 cities and has over 350 chapters called Tables and 4500 active members. Delhi Midtown Round Table 43 (DMRT43) celebrated its 1000th meet coinciding with the 43rd year of formation with great fanfare. Tr. Piyush Daga, National Vice President, RTI (Also a member of Nagpur RT 83) was the Chief Guest.
The event had a large number of present and past Tablers from across the country. DMRT43 showcased their wonderful community service activities done over the past 43 years of its existence. 2 schools with over 500 under privileged children in Delhi and NCR, affecting over 7000 underprivileged students in a remote community, over 5000 cataract operations donated, extending a new chapter in Perth, Australia were some of the key highlights of the event.
Tr. Piyush Daga said he felt extremely honoured to have witnessed the mega event. He appreciated the work done by DMRT43 and said such Tables are inspiration to other Tables across the country, He also invited everyone present to attend the Change Over Banquet (COB) here in Nagpur an event where he (Piyush) will take over as the National President of RTI in the month of July 2019. The Chairman Tr. Ashwani Mundhra and Secretary Tr. Piyush Prakash thanked everyone.
