Nagpur: Mohanish Jabalpure President of Vimukta Jaati and Nomadi Tribes of City Congress submitted a memorandum to the District Collector demanding ban and legal action against the illegal arms, fire arms and the illegal Shakhas being run by Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh.
The RSS performs puja of arms and fire arms in Reshimbagh and other cities of the country. According to Mohanish Jabalpure as per the information received under RTI, RSS does not have the permission to keep but still on a large scale it is keeping the arms and fire arms and performing the puja. This action of RSS proves their mentally to crerate fear in the minds of people, he said.
According to Jabalpure the people who have licenses for the arms are required to deposit them in the police station of their area on certain occasions like festivals, elections etc. but RSS has been specially exempted from this. As per information by police commissioner’s office RSS has not been given permission to hold the shakhas everyday. On certain occasion police department prohibits people gathering at places. The Collector has been demanded ban this illegal action within the frame of Indian Constitution.
