This bollywood Diva made her grand entry in the industry with 2007 film ‘Om Shanti Om’ and today her latest release ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ has made her one of those actors of B-town who have their pockets all incredibly loaded.
Out of the four releases this year, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ opened on a grand note. Infact, YJHD has become the first film to cross a business of Rs.100 crore within a week of its release. On the other hand, this year she will be seen in Chennai Express with badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Tamil megastar Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan and alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela.
Although her dates have been booked in advance, the recent reports show that she is the Most Wanted’ one by producers and directors. The reports suggest that three top filmmakers of Bollywood Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali and Mani Ratnam have each offered her a role in their upcoming films.
It is also being said that Imtiaz wants to repeat the lead pair of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika, in his next venture which he plans to start shooting early next year.
