Nagpur News: The Day-3 of Crescendo Stripe Up – 2012, was full of Sports and Cultural activities. The excitement and fun among students was heightened with the approaching Finals and increased competition.
In sports, the following games / activities were conducted on 27th October (Day 3): Carrom: ATLANTA College’s team is the winner and GOVERNMENT POLYTECNIQUE College is runner up. Tug of war: S.F.S College is the winner and DAIMSR College is runner up of tug of boys team and in girls Tug of war, DAIMSR College is the winner and RAISONI College is runner up. Football: EGAL SPORTING CLUB and ORANGE CITY MBA College are going to compete in finals on 28th OCT. Kho-Kho: NAVMAHARASHTRA College’s B team of boys is the winner and NAVMAHARASHTRA College’s A team of boys is Runner up. Chess: Finals were conducted and the winners declared are Aditya Kakpure from KITS, Ramtek, Jawed Sheikh from Ambedkar College and Nilesh Bankar from Lokmanya Tilak Institute, occupying 1st, 2nd & 3rd position respectively. Kabaddi: C.P.BERAR and EKLAVYA College are the finalists of Kabaddi.
There is immense anticipation among students for the events scheduled for the next two days. Favourite contenders are colleges like LTIMSR, KITS Ramtek, Ambedkar College, GNIET and Dharampeth Science, Raisoni College, Hislop College, Ramdeobaba College.
Finals of some sports games will be conducted on 28th October, 2012 with the more enthusiasm.
