Dawoodi Bohra Community organized Cleanliness Drive on national level in association with Swach Bharat mission and Burhani Foundation India.
The project was organized by the Burhani Foundation-India (BFI), an environmental research and awareness institute established by the 52nd Dai al Mutlaq, the Late Dr. Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA and by Nazaafat, a community organization involved in the promotion and awareness of civic hygiene, neighborhood cleanliness and urban greenery.
On Saturday, February 14th, this ambitious, long-term cleanliness campaign is to be taken-up in Nagpur City and in over 500 villages, towns and cities across the nation where the Dawoodi Bohras reside.
MLA of North Nagpur Dr. Milind Mane, Janab Aamil Juzer Bhai Saheb and other Political leaders were present.
A Program name “I Love Cleanliness” is launched today under the banner of Burhani Foundation India People participated in this project will show their love and affection towards Cleanliness and Nature.
In the guidance and teachings of His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) and under the initiative of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ by Narendra Modi and with the help from the local authorities and people from all walks of life this project will be carried forward. Main motto of this project is ‘To Keep Our City Clean’ and not just to ‘Clean Our City’.
