D-Day dawned: Counting begins: BJP Leads in early Trends in Maharashtra

Nagpur: As the D-Day dawned, the officials of Election Commission in the city brace themselves to hectic activities of counting. They have designated specific places for counting of different areas. The contestants wait with bated breath to know the verdict of the masses in their constituency. The counting is said to last till 5 pm.

 

In the counting that started at 7 am, the early trend shows BJP leading with 5+ .

 

East Nagpur 

The vote counting of East Nagpur Assembly constituency will be held at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Krida Square, Hanuman Nagar. The vehicular movement from Tukdoji Statue to Awari Square will go to Medical College Square via ESI Hospital square and Shantiniketan Convent route.
West and North Nagpur 

Counting in West and North Nagpur Constituencies will be held at Zilla Parishad (Old Government) Middle School, Katol Road and Annasaheb Gundewar College, Katol Road.
South Nagpur 

The counting South Nagpur Assembly constituency will be held at Sanskrutik Bachat Bhavan, near Hardeo Hotel, Sitabuldi. Vehicular traffic on both sides on road from Anand Talkies to Dhantoli over bridge has been banned.
South West Nagpur 

The counting in South West Nagpur Assembly Constituency will be held at Kurvey’s New Model High School, near Mata Kacheri Square. The traffic Kriplani ‘T’ Point to Mata Kacheri has been banned.
Central Nagpur

The counting in Central Nagpur Assembly Constituency will be held at Shetkari Bhavan, Futala Road, Telangkhedi. Traffic on Government Milk Scheme T Point to Telangkhedi temple has been completely banned.
