Cultural fest ‘Khasdar Mahotsav’ inaugurated in Nagpur

Nagpur: The most-awaited cultural fest ‘Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav’, began in a grand way at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education Ground, at 6 pm on Friday.

The inaugural function was presided by the hands of eminent FILM stars Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff the Ram Lakhan of Indian Cinema.

The festival presided by following the traditional mark by lighting the lamps by both actors along with Nitin Gadkari and other Dignitaries.

The festival, conceptualized by Union Minister for Road Transport, Shipping and Water Resources Nitin Gadkari, will be held from November 30 to December 18. Besides Gadkari, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Mayor Nanda Jichkar were the guests of honour for the inaugural function.

On the inaugural ceremony various artists presented Hindi songs ‘Yadon Ka Chala Karwan’, by Prasad Mahadkar. Shrikant Narayan, Sampada Goswami, Alok Katdhare, Sonali Karnik, Madan Shukla, and many other artists entertain Nagpurians with their soulful performances. Some old bollywood songs like dum maro dum, Meri Umar ke Nav Javano, Om Shanti Shanti Om and many more legendary songs.

The Ram Lakhan jodi shared some enlighten moments of their shooting time and informed how they use to act while filming.

The 14 day Sanskrutik Mahotsav will be highlighting around 900 artists from Nagpur which are given opportunity to perform on the stage in a grand way.
Everyone tapped their feets on some family bollywood songs and enjoyed the night.

The upcoming events will feature some eminent artists and actors.
