A road accident under MIDC Police Station jurisdiction on Saturday claims life of the budding 23-year old youth Sanket Satish Deogade who was proceeding to see his younger brother Rajat admitted in Lata Mangeshkar Hospital.
Nagpur News: The destiny played the cruel part of it when a brother, visiting his younger one at a hospital, was himself found lying in the hospital, dead. The cause was a road accident.
The heart rending incident occurred between 7.30 and 8.00 am on Saturday (February 22) when the victim Sanket Satish Deogade (23), resident of Hawre Layout, Plot No 25, behind Somalwar School in Nagpur, was proceeding to see his younger brother Rajat admitted in Lata Mangeshkar Hospital on his motorcycle (MH-31/DG 3307). When Sanket was taking a left turn from the CRPF Gate Square, a Tata Ace vehicle (MH-40/Y 2367), driven recklessly and speedily, dashed against Sanket’s motorcycle and thus injuring him grievously. The careless driver of the Tata Ace, a stigma to society, fled the spot without extending any help to profusely bleeding Sanket. Sanket was rushed to the same Lata Mangeshkar Hospital where he was going to see his younger brother Rajat. However, Sanket succumbed to his critical injuries while undergoing treatment at 1930 hours on the same day.
