Nagpur: A massive programme of crop-loan distribution in all 13 talukas across the district will be held on June 26, Friday, at 11 am onwards. All farmers should avail the opportunity, appeals Nagpur district collector, Sachin Kurve to all farmers of the district.
For the year 2015-16, there is a target of Rs 1073.10 crores for crop-loan distribution to the farmers, of which Rs 841.50 crores are earmarked for kharif crops while Rs 231.60 crores for rabbi crops. It may be noted that so far, by June 23, 2015, as many as 34,263 member-farmers have been benefited by Rs 335.89 crores in the form of crop-loans distributed by the nationalized banks as well as the rural banks.
Collector Surve further said in a press release that all necessary documentation including NoC will be made available to the each farmer on the spot by the coordination committee headed by tahsildar of the taluka concerned to facilitate them to avail the loans. All the 13 talukas of the district include Katol, Narkhed, Kalmeshwar, Kamptee, Umred, Bhivapur, Kuhi, Ramtek, Nagpur rural, Parshivani, Saoner and Hingna.
