Cops bust bogus medical degree racket in Hudkeshwar

Nagpur: Hudkeshwar police busted a bogus medical degree and certificates racket being run in the area. The key accused and his accomplices have been booked and are being searched.

Acting on a specific information, cops raided a house situated at Paradise Apartment, opposite Renuka Mata Temple and found bogus degrees of BAMS (AM), certificates and registration papers of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) being sold.

The accused, who were running the racket, were identified as Londhe and his unidentified accomplices. The accused not only cheated the government but played with the lives of people by selling fake medical degrees and other related documents.

Hudkeshwar API Ghodke, based on a complaint lodged by Manisha Upendra Kothekar of MUHS Divisional Office, Nagpur, has booked key accused Londhe and others under Sections 420, 467, 468, 469, 471, 472, 473, 475, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
