Cops arrest three in firing on former Kanhan NCP chief

Nagpur News: Kanhan Police arrested three in connection with firing on former Kanhan NCP chief Mohnish Reddy (30) that took place on Monday morning. It is to be noted that Mohnish was shot at a gymnasium when he was practicing at around 9.30 am on Monday. The arrested are Jeevan Chudaman Thaokar (30), Prashant Ashok Yelkar (30), and Rajesh Prakash Yadav (23). The accused along with other of their mates attacked Mohnish and fired three bullets over some old rivalry.

Meanwhile, Dr Ratan Roy informed that bullets have been taken out from Mohnish’s chest and thigh. On being informed, DYSP Santosh Wankhede, Kanhan PI Bagul other officials reached the spot but the accused already fled the spot before them. Kanhan Police are searching for other accused involved in the shootout.
