Nagpur:
In another unfortunate incident, a contract worker working in the South East Central Railway Workshop came under the wheels of a JCB and died on the spot on September 10, 2016.

The deceased is identified as Ashray Rajan Bamnet. Since the deceased was not a SECR employee, the authorities of SECR refused to provide any vehicle to carry the body to the hospital.

Finally the police had to call a private vehicle and carry the dead-body to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo) for post-mortem.

The driver of the JCB fled the spot and managed to run out of the SECR workshop. What is surprising is that when no one can enter or leave the workshop without informing the authorities, how did the driver of the JCB manage to flee from the workshop?

The cops of Jaripatka Police Station have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating further.
