Conman creates bogus website of Maharashtra State Security Corpn to dupe job seekers

Nagpur: Gittikhadan police have launched a search for an unidentified conman who created a bogus website in the name of Maharashtra State Security Corporation with the nefarious intentions to dupe job seeking youths.

According to a complaint lodged by Jagdeo Mahadeo Akre (63), Joint Director of Maharashtra State Security Corporation and Head of Nagpur Division, the accused conman holding mobile phone number 9767197897 prepared a board by the name of Maharashtra Intelligence Security Force having addresses as Shivra, Pimpalgaon, Nipani, Pimpri City and Amravati. The accused later created a bogus website www.misf.in and published an advertisement for recruitment.

To show the website as ‘genuine’ and deceive job seekers, the conman put the names and addresses of three Joint Directors of Maharashtra State Security Corporation, Mumbai, below the advertisement. The conman used the name of Maharashtra State Security Corporation in his fake website with the intention to cheat people.

Gittikhadan API Gaekwad, based on the complaint of Jagdeo Akre, Joint Director of Maharashtra State Security Corporation, booked the unidentified conman under Section 419 of the IPC read with Section 66(C) of IT Act and searching for him.
