Nagpur: Hundreds of Congress leaders and workers on Friday accorded a rousing welcome to Nana Patole at Nagpur Railway Station.
Congress has pitted Patole against BJP stalwart and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in his home turf – Nagpur.
As the train reached around 10 am, Congress workers raised slogans in pitched voice hailing Patole’s candidature and welcomed him to the beats of dhol and tasha.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include Praful Gudadhe Patil, Vishal Muttemwar, Tanaji Vanve, Vikas Thakre ,Baban Taiwade and hundreds of party workers.
