Nagpur/New Delhi: A special court set up to hear the multi-crore coal block allocation scam granted bail to Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Darda, one of the accused in the case.
The court has also granted bail to former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and two senior public servants in two separate coal block allocation cases.
Massive illegal money transaction allegedly took place in allocating coal blocks to favored companies and firms. The biggies from the corridors of powers were involved in the murky deal. Vijay Darda was made the accused along with his son Devendra Darda.
