Jaripatka police arrested 28-year-old Tausif Ahmed Abdul Wahid and his two friends for thrashing and allegedly threatening a businessman at gun point. Police have seized a mauser gun from the businessman Tulsi Vaswani’s office in Jaripatka. The incident took place on Monday afternoon.

Tausif is nephew of former President of Congress Committee, Shaikh Hussain. Tausif contested NMC elections as Congress candidate from Ward No. 19. Police said that Tausif and Vaswani already had some monetary dispute.

Vaswani had taken some loan amount from Tausif. On Monday afternoon, Tausif and his friends, identified as Yogi and Guru, gained entry at Vaswani’s office. The trio thrashed him badly and threatened him with the mauser to return the money. The whole incident was captured on the CCTV camera. The employees on the first floor, saw the CCTV footages and immediately informed the police. Cops found the mauser from the office and after verifying the footages, police arrested Tausif and the other two accused.
