Nagpur: A con couple, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, duped a middle aged man to the tune of Rs 47 lakh in a dubious property deal. The swindler couple has since then gone absconding and being trailed hotly by cops.
The complainant, Mohammed Haji Anees Sattar (52), resident of Flat No. 503, Chandralok Building, CA Road, told Tehsil police that the two accused Ahmed Sohel Ahmed Abdul Jabbar (38) and Seesha Sohel Abdul Jabbar (35), both natives of Gaurinagar Colony, Hyderabad (AP), negotiated property deal with him between August 2014 and July 2016. Accordingly, the con couple took a total of Rs 47 lakh from Mohammed Haji Anees Sattar from time to time. However, the accused husband-wife duo defrauded the property deal and since then went absconding. All efforts to trace the couple proved futile. Finally, a complaint was registered with Tehsil cops.
PSI P D Kulthe has booked the accused couple under Sections 420, 406, 34 of the IPC and mounted a hunt to nab them.
