Nagpur: Assembly member Dr Balaji Kinikar on Day-2 of second week of Winter Session raised the issue of irregularities in awarding contracts for various works related to Nagpur Metro Project.
In a written reply, the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the selection of contractors was done after consultations with Louis Berger Consultancy Company in the State. The Government had on 7.10.15 decided to set up a one-member committee to probe allegations of irregularities in awarding contracts for Nagpur Metro works. The committee, headed by Additional Chief Secretary (Home), has been directed submit its report in three months.
