Committed for development of state, Fadnavis to fly for Japan on 5-day visit

Nagpur: With a view to fulfill his commitment of overall development of Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be flying for Japan on the morning of September 8, 2015 to seek maximum foreign investments. As the state of Maharashtra is coming up with various industrial projects, this tour of his to Japan is very significant.

As scheduled, he will leave by Singapore Airline on Sept 8, and reach Okasa by Sept 9, from where he will reach Hotel New Otani, Tokya by 11 am and will hold talks with the investors and media representatives. In the afternoon, he will attend the meeting organised by Kansai Economic Federation and Okasa Chamber of Commerce & Industries. It will be followed by Maharashtra Investment Promotion Seminar. In the evening, 5.30 to 6.30, he will attend a seminar organized by Okasa Port Promotion Association, and then leave for Koyasan.

On Sept 10 , from 9.30 am to 1 pm, Fadnavis will visit historical monument of Koyasan, and thereafter he will join the banquet arranged by Governor Wakayama. After this, he will unveil the statute of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Koyasan University and also attend various cultural programmes to be organized in his honour.

On Sept 11, he will attend the meetings to be held with the representatives of various industrial organizations at Tokyo. It will be followed by his presence in the Maharashtra State Investment Promotion Seminar to be organized by MIDC and JETRO. Same day during afternoon hours, he will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister as well as minsters of transportation and tourism, and in the evening he will hold talks with Japanese ministers for finance, commerce and industries.

On Sept 12, Fadnavis will hold talks with MIXUHO Bank chairman. It will be followed by his presence in cultural programmes at Giza Square. He will attend a banquet hosted in his honour by Association of Friends of Japan, and by evening 8.30 he will leave for Yokohama and Haneda Airports, from there he will board Singapore Airline to reach Singapore, and from there head for India.
The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Maharashtra Tourism Minister Ram Shinde and Industries Minister Subhash Desai.
