Nagpur: A delegation of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) Principals’ Forum, led by Dr Babanrao Taywade, had met Dr Siddharth Vinayak Kane, the Vice-Chancellor of RTMNU, with a few demands, which the VC had assured to fulfill soon. However, none of the demands was met even after two years of the assurance.

The delegation had demanded increase in the payment made by the RTMNU for printing question papers. The VC had assured twice that the payment would be increased and later a Senate meeting had also approved the decision. However, no notification was issued in this regard so far.

Similarly, the University had agreed to pay Rs 12 per student to colleges to meet the expenses of stationary during examinations, and also to provide UPS and a generator to every college. Though, nothing was done in this regard since last two years.

Colleges would now be facing difficulties in conducting exams in the winter session, the Forum said.
