Nagpur: Rajiv R. Mishra, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) & Director (Personnel & IR) Coal India Limited has been awarded for Outstanding Achievements during his tenure as CMD,WCL.
In inaugural ceremony of 20th convention of Indian Geological Congress (IGC) at Nagpur today Arun Kumar (IAS), Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Mines gave away the award to Rajiv R. Mishra in august presence of N. Kutumba Rao, Director General, Geological Survey of India, Dr. Gopal Dhawan, President IGC & Chairman, 20th Convention, Prof. O. P. Verma, Executive President, IGC, R. Sahay, Controller General, Indian Bureau of Mines, L. K. Nanda, Director, Atomic Mineral Directorate for Exploration & Research.
Arun Kumar praised the outstanding performance of WCL under able leadership of Rajiv R. Mishra including production, Coal Neer, sand from OB, Bricks manufacturing, Eco Mine Tourism & Eco Park, Assistance in Skill Development Program.
