CM reviews progress of various projects in Vidarbha

Nagpur: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday chaired a video conferencing meeting with all the Collectors of Vidarbha region to review the progress and status of district-wise pending issues which were discussed during the Winter Session of State Legislature held in Nagpur in December last. The issues Fadnavis reviewed include rehabilitation of PAPs, land acquisition, construction of wells, electric connections for agri pumps, projects of mission mode and filling up of vacant posts in various districts.

The Chief Minister, during the video conferencing, discussed land acquisition & rehabilitation issues for Gosikhurd, Bembla, Lower Penganga, Katepurna projects with respective Collectors. He asked the Gadchiroli Collector to speed up process of mobile connectivity and power connections in remote areas of the district and directed the Collectors to give momentum to work for Gondia Medical College and Super Speciality Hospital in Amravati. Since State Government is providing power connections to agri pumps, almost all districts are getting new applications for the same, in large numbers. Fadnavis instructed all Collectors implement this scheme in full swing.

Chief Secretary and Secretaries of various departments were also present in this meeting.
