Nagpur: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary. Fadnavis garlanded the portrait of Indira Gandhi in Mantralaya. The Chief Minister also administered the oath of Rashtriya Ekatmata Divas (National Solidarity Day) to officials and employees on the occasion.
Indira Gandhi’s birth anniversary is also celebrated as National Solidarity Day and to mark the occasion the Chief Minister administered the oath. Others who were present on the occasion include Industry Minister Prakash Mehta, Chief Secretary Swadhin Kshatriya, General Administration Department’s Principal Secretary P S Meena, Urban Development Department’s Principal Secretary Manukumar Shrivastav, School Education Department’s Secretary Ashwini Bhide, PWD Secretary S P Mukherjee and other senior officials.
