Nagpur: Nagpur racing enthusiast Anshul Shah has made it to the proud list of top 8 drivers who were selected in Shootout Program organised by Madras Motor Sport Club (MMSC) in Chennai. Shah has already won the Scholarship Shootout Program and accelerated to the shootout to clinch participation in MRF FF 1600 National Racing Championship 2016 for the second consecutive year.
Shootout was conducted at Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai. 24 drivers participated for the Scholarship shootout event from all over India. He has successfully completed first round of MRF FF 1600.
Shah however missed pre-season testing of MRF FF 1600 which was held at Coimbatore, and has directly entered the first round which commenced on January 31st January at MMRT, Chennai. In the initial Friday practice session he appeared more focused on learning and setting up the car but then he coped up with the grid and completed the round successfully with respectable position’s in the both races.
Later he got really comfortable with the car as he needed more track time.
