Citizens to get cheaper Tur-dal, Chana-dal: 8 centres fixed for distribution

Citizens will now get cheaper Tur-dal at the rate of Rs 130 per kg and Chana-dal at the rate of Rs 62 per kg to be distributed from 8 centres in the city, informed a press note.

One of the centres, Apna Bhandar Fair Price Super Market, Sitabuldi for distribution of cheaper Tur-dal was inaugurated at the hands of District Collector Sachin Kurve on Saturday in the prominent presence of Food Grains Distribution Officer Ramesh Bende, District Supply Officer Naresh Wanjari, Apna Bhandar director H G Jaswani, manager Thakre and Vidarbha Dal Millers Association President Ashok Goyal.

The other centres fixed for distribution of Tur dal  and Chana-dal include Super Market Sitabuldi, Savitri Vihar Somalwada, Plot No. 2 Jaiprakash Nagar, Panchdeep Gruh Nirman Sanstha, Trimurti Nagar Chowk, Ambazari Hira Laxmi, Plot No 53, Shastri Layout, Subhash Nagar, Hingna Road, Barde Complex, Friends Colony, Katol Road, Dattatraya Nagar, Plot No. 40, Sai Apartment, near Mahakalkar Sabhagruh, Sakkardara, Butibori MIDC, Vaibhav Heights, Plot No. S-293, Commercial Zone, MIDC Industrial Estate, Butibori.

The distribution of cheaper dals is being jointly conducted by Nagpur Dal Millers Association and Nagpur District Administration. The distribution at all centres will be supervised by Food Supply Officer, and special teams have been set up for ensuring that all consumers should get cheaper dals. The citizens should cooperate in this regard, urged district administration.
