CIROWA foundation day celebrated in WCL

Nagpur: Coal India Retired Officers Welfare Association (CIROWA) foundation day was celebrated in Nagpur based Miniratna Central Public Enterprise, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL). The celebration was graced as Chief Guest by the Chairman cum Managing Director of WCL Rajiv R. Mishra. During progarmme founder and senior members of association were felicitated. A report on works done by CIROWA during last one year along with the challenges faced was also presented before the members.

While addressing the august gathering Mishra said that it gives him immense pleasure while he is among seniors. First of all he admired the contributory social welfare being undertaken by CIROWA members and announced that Team WCL would also be equal partner of their social activities. To bring ease in dealing with routine issues and problems of retired officers he also announced to start a dedicated help desk for them in WCL from January 2017. A brief about WCL and out of box initiatives being undertaken was also given during the speech.
