Nagpur: A prisoner lodged in city’s Central Jail died on Wednesday due to health complications. The deceased has been identified as Vishwanath Dande, native of Khairlanji (Bhandara).
Vishwanath was lodged in Nagpur Central Prison after his conviction in some criminal case. On Wednesday, his health suddenly deteriorated and was admitted in Super Speciality Hospital. However, doctors pronounced Vishwanath around 11 pm during the course of treatment.
On the basis of information, Dhantoli police have registered a case and probing the matter further.
