CBSE AIPMT to be held on May 4

Nagpur News: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) All India Pre-Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2014 will be conducted on May 4. A total of 1.60 lakh students from Maharashtra have got themselves registered for the exam till April 3. The last date for filling challans in banks is Friday (April 11) and students can download their admit cards from the third week of April.

PROBLEMS CROPPED UP:

There are different dates in different states for downloading admit cards for AIPMT-2014. According to information, at various places where the process for downloading admit cards started on April 1, many problems cropped up. The official website was declared invalid on April 1. A notice was issued on the website which informed the students that those admit cards downloaded before 7 pm on April 2 are invalid and new guidelines were issued and students were directed to download admit cards afresh.

3-HOUR EXAM:

The AIPMT is organized for MBBS, BDS admissions. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) held in 2013 was transformed into AIPMT in 2104. However, no change was done in the courses. Question papers of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and others will have optional questions. The exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.
