Nagpur News: Following the rising complaints of customers of illegal sell of cylinders, CBI team raided many gas agencies in and around city on Wednesday morning.
Krohe gas agency on Bhandara road, Vyankatesh gas agency (Indian) in Namakganj Mesars Bharat gas agency at Yeshwant Stadium, Jyoti Domestic appliance, Bhawani gas service (HP) at Manewada, Blue Flame (HP) of Medical Sqaure and Agrawal gas agency on Wadi-Ambazari road were raided.
The CBI SP Sandeep Tamgadge said that they got the complaints about various malpractices by the dealers. Officials have raided the gas agencies offices and godowns and have seized the documents. They are yet to check information related to stocks kept in Godown and whether its not matching with the stock register. Officials are about to check whether the stock has been delivered to customers or not.
CBI has received complained that agencies had been denying gas cylinders to its consumers, but selling it in the black market at a higher price.
Officials said that only after checking the documents, proper action will be taken
