Nagpur News : CBI, ACB, Nagpur branch has registered case RC0282014A0010 on 05.06.2014 against S R Tiwari, General Manager (Excavation), Western Coalfield Limited, Padmapur u/s. 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 on the basis of written complaint of Bhaurao Namdeorao Gothe R/o Durgapur District Chandrapur (MH). It is alleged by the complainant that S R Tiwari, GM (Excv.) demanded a bribe of Rs. 4,000 from him for passing the bill dated 27.5.2014 amounting to Rs. 27,500 towards repairing of machine at WCL Padampur Area.
The CBI, ACB, Nagpur branch arranged the trap and caught S R Tiwari, while accepting of illegal gratification of Rs.3,000/- from the complainant after negotiation of the bribe amount.
J J Damble and Vinod Kuhikar, both PIs and along with their team members laid a successful trap at Chandrapuron 05.6.2014 under the supervision and guidance of Sandeep M. Tamgadge, IPS, HOB/Supdt. of Police, CBI, ACB, Nagpur.
