Nagpur: When five young people with completely different personalities work together under one roof, it is bound to create confusion and comic situations. Such is the office life of Sunny, JD, Ranjan, Riya and Sam, who work together in a publishing house. Set in Mumbai, ‘Aadat Se Majboor’ is a show about friendship, bonding, love, happiness topped with lots of comedy. This group of freshers who have come together for their first job at a publishing house are working very hard to make their magazine ‘City Chakkar’, a success. While doing so, the characters get into a tough competition to be ahead of each other, which leads to circumstances that create hilarious situations in their day-to-day lives.
These young guns have different ideologies and desires in life. Sunny’s (Anuj Pandit) only motive is to marry a beautiful girl whom he can flaunt in front of his family. JD (Rishabh Chaddha) hails from Vapi (Gujarat), is extremely money-minded and looks for his profit in every deed. Ranjan (Haresh Raut) belongs to a poor family and firmly believes in middle class values. Riya (Sana Maqbool Khan) is the features writer for the magazine, has stayed abroad in her growing years and only returned to India to prove herself and to make a mark with her hard work and perseverance. Other being Samiksha aka Sam (Vanshika Sharma) is a rebel, a tomboy and a total feminist.
The fab actors who play five unique characters were in Nagpur to meet and greet their fans on their promotional trip.
Haresh Raut who plays the role of Ranjan said, “My character is Ranjan who hails from Nagpur and I am really excited to meet the people there. I am a Maharashtrian myself and it feels great to be surrounded by my people. As I am new to the industry meeting our viewers in Nagpur will be overwhelming.”
Excited to visit Bhopal, Anuj Pandit who plays Sunny said, “Well it’s my first visit to Nagpur so I am happy to go and promote our show there. We have a character, Ranjan who belong to Maharashtra in the show so I hope people will like that aspect of the show. Also, I have heard the cuisine is very spicy there and personally I love spicy food.”
Rishabh Chaddha who portrays JD was equally excited for the visit said, “I’ve never been to Nagpur which is why I am very excited to visit and explore. I look forward to take a piece of the city in the form of some yummy ‘SantraBarfi’ for my family back home.I am very happy as I will get a chance to do a meet and greet with my fans as well.”
Vanshikha Sharma who plays Sam said, “This is the first time that I am visiting Nagpur and I am very excited to interact with viewers there. I am also looking forward enjoying some of the famous Tarri-poha and picking up some orange barfi to share with the show’s team back home.”
Let us all join Sunny, JD, Rajan, Sam and Riya on this roller coaster ride as they embark on the journey of their first job, supporting each other as they fall and tricking each other at times because true to their characters, they are all ‘Aadat Se Majboor’!
