The candidates, appearing for JEE Main 2014 computer based test on JEE main website, better take care and avail the option of selecting the date and slot for the computer exam before January 17. Or face the allotment of dates and slot randomly subject to availability of the same, notwithstanding whether the candidates were interested or not.

Students must log into JEE Mains 2014 official website, where they will be asked to enter their JEE Main 2014 application number and password. The available exam dates for the computer based examination are 9th April, 11th April, 12th April and 19th April. Students have to select two time slots as the examination will take place in two shifts: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

CBSE officials have stated that the candidates, who don’t make any selection of the JEE Main 2014 computer exam dates, will be allotted dates and slot randomly subject to availability of the same. If a candidate does not make any selection, he or she shall be randomly assigned a slot/date as per the availability of the same as per Page No. 11 of Information Bulletin.

Details of the session and slot will be given in the student’s Admit Card which can be downloaded from 1st March, 2014. Also, JEE Main 2014 computer exam question paper will be mailed to each and every student who has registered and appeared for the test after the exam is completed.

A total of 13.56 lakh students have registered for the JEE Mains 2014 exam across the country out of which only 1.71 lakh students have registered for the computer based test.
