    BVM Ashti girls win hockey title

    bvmNagpur: The girls of Bhavan’s BP Vidya Mandir, Ashti emerged winners in the SBSE West Zone Under-14 Girls Hockey Tournament played at Emerald Height School, Akola.

    Khushi Thakur was declared best goalkeeper whereas best defender prize went to Vaibhavi Rathod. Prathistha Bisen was declared best half prize.

    The other team members include Janhavi Tonge, Prerna Singh, Shreya Sharma, Shryea Kalambe, Vritti Patel, Deeksha Patel, Pranali Pokle, Chetana Shingne, Samruddhi Vaidya, Katuri Malode, Sanjana Singh and Mital Gotmare.

    The team was coached by Mamata Mahanto.

    Now the team has been selected for the nationals to be played at Karnataka.

    School principal Vandana Bisen and sports teachers Zeba Bux and has congratulated the students for their outstanding performance.
