Burglary Strikes Well-Known Astrologer’s Office in Ajni: Rs 9 Lakh Worth of Gems and Valuables Stolen

Nagpur: In a daring burglary at the office of renowned astrologer Dr. Shrikant Jadhav in the Ajni Police Station area, a group of thieves managed to abscond with a steel vault filled with silver rings adorned with gemstones, as well as precious and semi-precious stones, collectively valued at Rs nine lakh. The audacious break-in occurred in the early hours of Friday, leaving the office in disarray.

The theft was discovered around 10.30 am when Anil Bhoyar, Dr. Jadhav’s manager, arrived to open the office at Jyoti Apartment Flat No. 477, ‘Sarthak,’ Plot No 1, Ujjwal Society, Shree Nagar. Bhoyar was shocked to find the locks of the iron grill and main door forcibly broken. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the steel vault, weighing approximately 60 kilograms, stored within a wooden almirah, was missing.

The gravity of the situation deepened as Dr. Jadhav, along with his wife Sheetal, arrived at the scene to find their office ransacked. Surveillance footage reviewed by Dr. Jadhav unveiled the perpetrators breaking the locks and gaining entry around 1.15 am, prompting an immediate notification to the authorities.

The Ajni Police Station swiftly dispatched a team led by Senior PI Ashok Bhandare to investigate the crime scene. Dr. Jadhav, a practitioner of Vedic Astrology for 27 years, who also specializes in palmistry, numerology, face reading, and Vastu Shastra, operates his firm, Sai Gems & Jewellers, from the same office premises.

As of late night, law enforcement remained in the dark regarding the identity of the gang responsible for the theft of the steel vault containing precious gemstones and valuables, leaving Dr. Jadhav and his associates grappling with the aftermath of this brazen act.”
