Burglary at Locked House in Kalamna, Cash and Gold Worth ₹3.5 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur – Unidentified thieves broke into a locked house in Hastinapur, Kalamna, and made away with cash and gold ornaments worth ₹3.5 lakh.

As per reports, the complainant Mohammad Zuber Ahmed (48), a resident of Plot No. 111, Hastinapur, Wanjara Road, had locked his home and gone with his family to attend a function between October 20 and 21.

Taking advantage of the family’s absence, the burglars broke the lock and latch of the main door and looted ₹50,000 in cash and 60 grams of gold jewellery, collectively valued at ₹3,50,000, from a cupboard in the bedroom.

Based on the complaint, PSI Kulsange registered a case under Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against unidentified accused persons at Kalamna Police Station.

Police have initiated a probe, and efforts are underway to identify and nab the culprits.
