Nagpur News: The burglars on prowl went on a house-breaking spree and targeted four flats in a row in Congress Nagar, Nagpur.

According to police, the thieves struck the four flats 302, 303, 304 and 305 in the Hyatt Apartment. All the flat owners had gone outstations. The criminals first succeeded in breaking open flat number 304 and grabbed Rs 6000 in cash and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 91,000. Not satisfied with the “meager” bounty, the burglars then turned their sights to other three flats which, too, were locked up.

However, they could only succeed in breaking open locks of channel gates thus the flat owners were saved from the possible robbery. The unlucky flat 304 owner Kishore Bhange was only relieved of booty worth Rs 91,000. The Secretary of the Hyatt Apartment Sunil Baliram Patil reported the incident to Dhantoli Police Station. The Dhantoli PSI Banbele has booked the unidentified burglars under Sections 454, 457, 380 of the IPC and is further probing the matter further.
