Nagpur:
Although the railway introduced a surge in train fares claiming to do the same to perk up Indian Railways, the assertions made by Narendra Modi led government and Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu seem to be petering out, according to the allegations made by Passenger Service Committee of Railways.

As contended by Ramanand Tripathi, a member of the committee, the sole reason behind the misconduct is bureaucracy pertaining in the ministry. “I will not hesitating in saying that the life line of the country is in a mess because of high rank officials. They reside in their Air conditioned chambers and just listen to the troubles being faced by people instead of acting on them. Several rules are made but none are followed” he said. This states that the ministers do not have any control on their staff. More than 75 percent of the staff is not in tune with the new government. They still remain honest to the prior government.” he added.

He also narrated his own experience of travelling in an A-1 coach recently which was far from any kinf of management. The team also tried to talk to passengers in Nagpur, Tumsar Road, Gondia and Bhandara and tried to find the issues being faced by them.
