Nagpur: Pachpaoli police have booked four persons, including a brother-sister duo and a couple, on the charges of beating and molesting a 27-year old woman for lodging police complaint against them.
The accused Vishwanath Narayan Sirsikar (36), Devani Narayan Sirsikar (35), Bhaskar Narayan Parate (36) and Sarika Bhaskar Parate forcibly entered the house of the woman in Pachpaoli area and questioned her as to why she lodged a police complaint against them. However, even before the woman could answer the question, the four accused started abusing and beating her. Moreover, accused husband-wife duo Bhaskar and Sarika Parate caught hold of the woman’s hair and pulled her down on the ground and Vishwanath Sirsikar indulged in vulgar acts. When the woman protested the obscene act, she was hit on the head by a wooden rod and injured.
Pachpaoli PSI Kale, acting on the complaint of the victimized woman, booked the four accused under Sections 323, 324, 354, 504, 34 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
