Nagpur: A 23-year old boy sexually exploited a girl by doling out marriage promise but deserted her when she became pregnant. The accused has been booked.
The accused Abhishek Gajanan Mahule (23), resident of New Colony, near Shiv Mandir, and the 20-year old girl were reportedly in love with each other. In July, 2014, the accused Abhishek promised to marry with the girl. Since then the accused established sexual relationship with the girl. Over the time, the sexual relationship resulted in pregnancy to the girl. When the accused Abhishek came to know of pregnancy, he bluntly refused to marry with the girl and deserted her midway. Shocked by the nasty action on the part of accused Abhishek, the girl approached Sadar police and registered a case against him.
PSI Varfade has booked the accused Abhishek Gajanan Mahule under Section 376 of IPC and investigating the matter further.
