Nagpur: In a hit & run accident, a boy lost his life on Thursday. Cops have booked the unidentified vehicle owner and searching for him.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Golu Aniruddha Singh Thakur (18-20 years), native of Gram Kadeshwar, District Panna (MP). Golu was walking near Bharat Petrol Pump, Pardi Post on Bhandara-Nagpur Highway at about 11.25 pm on Friday. At the same time, a rashly driven vehicle hit him and speeded away. Golu received fatal injuries due to the hit and died on the spot.

Kalamna API Thakre, based on a complaint, booked the unidentified vehicle driver under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC and Sub-Sections 134(A)(B) of Motor Vehicles Act and searching to arrest him.
