Nagpur:A tragic incident unfolded in Nagpur, causing grief to the local’s. While playing in the courtyard, a boy fell victim to a cat’s attack, resulting in his demise. This incident occurred in the village of Ukhali in Hingna taluka on Saturday. The family of the child is now mourning his loss.
The deceased boy, identified as Shreyanshu Krishna Pendam (age 11), succumbed to injuries inflicted during the cat’s assault while playing in the courtyard on Saturday evening. The severity of the injuries led to his unfortunate death on the spot. Following the incident, the Hingna police station has registered a case of accidental death.

According to information provided by the police, Shreyanshu Krishna Pendam was playing in the courtyard of his home in Ukhali when the cat attacked him unexpectedly. As a result of the cat’s attack, Shreyanshu sustained serious injuries. He was promptly rushed to the nearby hospital by family members, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead by the doctors.
