It has proved many times over that no matter how late anyone is, getting off a running train is and has never been a good idea. A couple learned it the hard way when they tried getting off a moving train at Lonavala station outskirts of Pune. While the husband fell on the platform and escaped grave danger, the wife practically got stuck in the gap between the train and the platform.
An alert constable identified as Pawan Tayde who was on duty on the platform, rushed and pulled the woman out. It was the timely action by the alert constable which saved the woman. If it wasn’t for him, who knows what could have happened to her. His calm nerves and presence of mind are truly commendable. Maybe, that’s why the Internet users and social media can’t stop praising him.
The bravery of Pawan is said to have even moved Bollywood’s actor known for his stunts Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar couldn’t resist himself from showering praises for the alert policeman.
