Mumbai: Update on the Dombivali blast: A change in the figures … the number of deaths are now three, with 20 people injured. Earlier reports put the death toll as one with over 150 injured.
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis says he spoke to police officials and local authorities and has asked them to speed up the relief operations.
Following the blast, a fire broke out in the factory situated at MIDC Phase 2 in Dombivli (East). Reports suggest that the blast was so huge that window panes in buildings located as far away as 3-4 km from the site were shattered.
