Body of 11-year old boy found floating in Ambazari Lake

Nagpur: Body of an 11-year old boy was found floating in Ambazari Lake on Friday.

According to police, the deceased Raunak Anil Gavai, resident of Ajay Nagar, Ambazari Hilltop, may have drowned while swimming. His was body was spotted around 5 pm on Friday, June 9. Upon informed, a team of Ambazari police led by API A S Surose reached the spot and started investigations.

Cops performed inquest panchnama of the body and sent it to GMCH for post-mortem. It could not be verified whether Raunak had gone to Ambazari Lake alone or was accompanied by friends or any other person.
