New Delhi: In yet another shocking incident, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP has alleged that he was drugged and filmed in an objectionable position by a gang led by a woman, for the extortion of Rs 5 Crore. Following the complaint, the Delhi Police have launched a search hunt to find the high-profile lady.

According to the reports of leading daily Times Of India, the woman gang threatened him of releasing his pictures and videos, if the MP fails to fulfil their demands of Rs 5 Crore. The woman also warned the lawmaker that she would file a rape case against him, if the demand was not met.

The MP in his complaint said that the lady had sought help and asked him to accompany her to a house in Ghaziabad. When he reached her home, the lady gave him sedatives which were mixed in a soft drink, claims reports in the daily. After having the drink, the MP passed out and when he regained his senses he realised that he had been trapped.

A case has been registered under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code for extortion. Talking to TOI, a police officer said, “A special team has been formed to probe the case. If required, the case may be transferred to the crime branch or special cell.” However, initial investigations said that the woman runs a blackmail racket which targets only parliamentarians to extort money from them.

“We have found that her modus operandi is to approach parliamentarians on the pretext of seeking help and then befriend them by her smooth talk. She then takes them to her house for tea and then clicks their pictures in objectionable poses. After that, she demands money or a high flying job. If refused, she threatens to register a fake case of rape,” one of the police officers investigating the case told TOI.

However, this is not the first case against the woman. Last year, she had trapped two parliamentarians demanding a huge amount of money from them.
