Nagpur News: In a surprising development, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lodged a complaint at Kanhan Police Station against Guardian Minister Shivajirao Moghe for booking him under Section 420 of IPC (Cheating).
The BJP leaders Yogesh Wadibhasme, District General Secretary of the party and the former Sarpanch of Kanhan Gram Panchayat Dr Manohar Pathak, said in their complaint to Kanhan PI Ashok Bagul that the Guardian Minister Moghe had announced at a function held at Wadi in September, 2012 conversion of Kanahan Gram Panchayat into Kanhan Municipal Council and Wadi Gram Panchayat the Wadi Municipal Council before March 30, 2013. However, the announcement remained an announcement only till today.
This way, the BJP leaders said, Moghe cheated and played dirty politics with the people of Kanhan. He hurt the feelings of the people of the town. Therefore, the Guardian Minister Moghe be booked under Section 420 for cheating and giving false promises to Kanhan and Wadi people, the BJP leaders said in their complaint to police.
The BJP leaders informed the Kanhan police that a similar complaint against the then Home Minister P Chidambaram and the present Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde were booked under Section 420 for their promises of formation of Telangana State within a month. (the promises were made by both the leaders almost a year ago). But still there is no sign of formation of separate Telangana State. “Moghe must be booked under Section 420 of IPC for his falsehood,” the BJP leaders asserted.
Apart from Yogesh Wadibhasme, District General Secretary of the party and the former Sarpanch of Kanhan Gram Panchayat Dr Manohar Pathak, other party leaders present during lodging of complaint at Kanhan Police Station include Dipchand Shende, Mahadeo Lilhare, and others.
