Nagpur: The bhoomipujan of renovation-works of city-bus depot in Mor Bhavan was performed at 9 am on June 11 at the hands of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) Mayor Pravin Datke. It may be mentioned that it was the need of the hour to rennovate the city-bus stand, and provide more platforms (3 more to added to existing 11 platforms) in the interest of citizens as more and more buses are plied by NMC every day.
Present on the occasion were Dy Mayor Munna Pokulwar, MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, NMC Standing Committee chairman Ramesh Singare, Leader of Ruling Party in NMC Dayashankar Tiwari, Leader of Opposition in NMC Vikas Thakre, NMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, Dhantoli Zone chairperson Lata Yadav and prominent persons from various sections of society, informed a press note issued by Admin officer, Transport Department, NMC.
