Nagpur: A first year student of Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Sheetal Sangode, committed suicide under depression after she failed in the final exams. Sangode, 20, was alone at her NIT quarter residence in Jaripatka when she hanged herself to the ceiling fan in the bedroom.
Her father, Raibhan had gone to her college at Congress Nagar to collect the result while her elder brother had been to college. Police said that Sheetal’s mother stays separately from the family. No suicide note was found by Jaripatka police. Sangode told police that she was dejected due to her bad results and thus might have taken the extreme step. After the post-mortem at Mayo hospital, police has registered a case of an accidental death.
